Jhené Aiko and Rae Sremmurd brought their smoking anthem “Sativa” to daytime television with a performance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Friday (March 23).
Swae Lee launched into the performance in a sequined Gucci Snow White sweatshirt. Surrounded by bright lights, Penny also came through in a midriff-baring crop top.
“The only drug a bitch is on is the tree,” she sings, while foliage surrounded her throughout the neon-hued performance.
Later, Slim Jxmmi popped up rocking cornrows, plaid pants, and a red-and-black jacket. Finally, the trio closed the performance by bouncing around the stage with harp and key players beside them.
It was a celebration backstage, where Jhené and the guys received gold plaques for “Sativa.” Penny also earned a gold certification for “While We’re Young” last month. They posed for photos with both Trip awards on hand.
