Murda Beatz Says He Sent Drake New Beats

Murda Beatz is one of the most prolific producers in the entire music industry at this point. A few years ago, he was a rising up-and-comer but these days, you can hear his tag on the hottest tracks of the year. Murda’s big break was when he worked on early Migos cuts, producing “Pipe It Up” in 2015. The rest is history as he’s collaborated with some of the top artists in the world in Drake, Travis Scott, 2 Chainz, Nicki Minaj and more. He’s gotten so big that the New York Times is writing features about him and in his latest interview, he quickly gave a glimpse into what we can expect from him in the coming months.

The beatmaker’s biggest hit to date is “Nice For What” but he wants to surpass his recent success by taking similar measures. Despite being all over Quavo’s Quavo Huncho debut, Murda is aiming at more hits with Drake. The two Canadians have linked up many times in the past and Murda told the Times that he recently sent a pack of beats to the superstar to do his thing over. Drake has previously teased during his Aubrey & The Three Amigos tour that once his schedule is a little lighter, he’s jumping right back in the lab to work on fresh music and this only solidifies that.

Murda also has plans to work with Cardi B soon. The producer is credited on “MotorSport” and the Invasion of Privacy cut “I Do” and it’s not shocking to hear that he wants to try and make the same magic as they have before.
