G-Eazy was arrested on suspicion of assault, possession of narcotics, and use of narcotics in Sweden on Wednesday (May 2).
According to TMZ, the “No Limit” rapper was acting belligerent at a nightclub after his inaugural show on “The Beautiful & Damned” European tour in Stockholm. Insiders claim security guards tried to calm him down to no avail.
That’s when sources say the night took a violent turn. Eazy reportedly responded to the guards by throwing punches, hitting at least one of them in the face multiple times. Law enforcement officials detained Gerald and apparently found cocaine in his pocket. At press time, the “Sober” MC remains in custody, as per the report.
Social media posts captured much of Gerald’s wild night out. He kicked the evening off with his performance, where he was joined by girlfriend and “Him & I” collaborator Halsey. Then, he hit the nightclub, where he seemed to enjoy shots with singer Sean Kingston.
It’s unclear how the incident will impact Gerald’s remaining tour dates. His European trek is scheduled to hit countries including Denmark, Germany, Poland, and Austria, before wrapping June 6 in Olympia.
