Slim Shady is ready to have an Unvalentine’s Day. After teasing the “River” video with a dubious viral clip, Eminem has unleashed a longer trailer for the video, which is set to arrive on Wednesday (Feb. 14).
The preview features the same mystery woman who filmed him in a hotel room in the previously-released and quickly dispelled leak. This time, she tells Marshall Mathers that she’s pregnant, but the clip also features some contemplative confessionals from Em and Ed.
“My personal life is not exactly a highlight reel,” says Slim, while reflecting on the meaning of love. The newly-engaged Ed Sheeran adds: “If you don’t have the trust element, you’re fucked.”
Shady announced the teaser with a wish for all his fans. “Unhappy Valentine’s day!” he tweeted. “#River Music Video ft. @edsheeran WEDNESDAY.”
“River” is the latest single off Eminem’s chart-topping album Revival. It follows the visual for the Beyoncé-assisted “Walk On Water.”
