It’s a Majid Jordan karaoke party in the video for “Gave Your Love Away,” the duo’s smooth collaboration off The Space Between.
The laid-back visual kicks off at a mellow house party, where a group of friends throw the track on during a karaoke session. That’s when the video takes on all of the quirky, special effects of a typical karaoke vid, with random architectural shots mixed in with performance scenes. Meanwhile, the apartment party keeps going with fireworks in the background.
“Gave Your Love Away” debuted during a Louis Vuitton fashion show last year. It appears on Majid Jordan’s sophomore album The Space Between, which earned a spot on Rap-Up’s Best Albums of 2017.
On Jan. 16, the duo will embark on “The Space Between Tour.” The worldwide trek will hit cities including New York, Los Angeles, Dublin, Paris, and Berlin before closing in their hometown of Toronto on April 4.
