Uber is talking big things now as they have just hired NASA to help them develop flying cars. Engineer Mark Moore will be the helping brain behind it all.
Moore says,
“I can’t think of another company in a stronger position to be the leader for this new ecosystem and make the urban electric VTOL market real,”
For many who may not know, VTOL is shorthand for “vertical takeoff and landing.” Moore is looking to give a Fast-Forwarding to a Future of On-Demand Urban Air Transportation. He wants these “air taxis” to go at the speed of between 50 and 100 miles.
This is a alot if you ask me. We havent even mastered self driving cars, yet alone flying cars.
