Nick Young HAD to be joking about this because if he isn’t he might seriously be crazy. Ahead of the Lakers matchup last night with the Spurs, the topic of who was a better defender came up. The options were Kawhi Leonard and Nick Young, to which Young replied “”It’s tough. He’s getting to my level.” The discussion about defensive player of the year even came up to which Young wanted to include himself as well. Kawhi Leonard is one of the best, if not THE best defensive player in the league and he would make Young look like a joke. Maybe joking is all Young was doing to begin with. For his sake, I hope so.
