Fetty Wap’s album debuted high on the charts, but not as high as early expectations. Hit the jump to see more.
Selling only 75,000 copies in the first week, his self titled album only made it to #3 on The Billboard 200, falling behind country artists Don Henley and George Strait.
This came as a shock to record executives who readied themselves for sales exceeding 300K. However, it appears that his notable singles are causing more of an impact than a full-blown project. Regardless of all of the radio spins, it looks as though the “My Way” singer didn’t do as well as expected.
It other news, Drake and Future’s “What A Time To Be Alive” sold 65,513 this week, putting them one spot behind Fetty.
