After promising a reward in the sum of, $1MiL, for the return of a “personal item,” this singer/song-writer didn’t pony up the dough, so…Today his Cadillac Escalade will be auctioned off. Hit the jump for the deets.
The, Black Mozart singer, Ryan Leslie has been in news PLENTY within this past year, and not for good reasons. If you remember, a few years back, Lewis’ laptop was stolen and he went crazy! After offering a $20,000 reward, still no laptop, but when he mentioned the amount of $1MiL, the laptop was returned. In Ryans defense, he offered $1Mil for the return of his laptop because it contained hundreds of song files and things of that nature, when the laptop was returned it was completely erased. Police decided to sue Lewis for his lack of promised payment, and he was ordered to hand over the ca$h, which he’s yet to do…
Now, for his actions or lack there of, the “Black Flag” singer has had his Cadillac Escalade seized. So far, the only monies paid out from Leslie has been $5,000, but after this auction, all funds will go to, Armin Augstein, the man who returned the laptop.
TSK TSK! Don’t make promises you can’t keep.
