All of the lights. Swizz Beatz and Nas get their shine on in the stunning video for “Echo.”
Swizzy takes over the light-filled Mori Building Digital Art Museum, the world’s first digital art museum in Tokyo. In the opening scene, he raises a glass while toasting to the kings and queens. God’s Son appears in a room filled with white lights, while a ballet dancer dances in the red room. Swizz and Nas meet up in another room with moving projections.
“Hip hop vid of the year ECHO!” said Swizz, who debuted the visual at a screening in New York earlier this week. “I’m not even going to talk about the verses y’all already know what time it is.”
“Echo” appears on Swizz’ first project in over a decade, Poison. The album also features appearances from Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, Young Thug, Pusha-T, French Montana, and 2 Chainz.
