This year, we’ve had to report on far too many deaths. It’s never a nice feeling to have to notify you of a murder in the community but it seems to keep happening and frankly, it’s incredibly discouraging. Just a few days after Young Greatness passed away, reports that two promising Florida artists have been murdered are circulating online. YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser were part of a rap collective in the Sunshine State that was receiving tons of attention. YNW Melly is part of the group, taking major strides in his career this year. It’s being reported that Juvy and Sakchaser were murdered on Friday.
According to Miramar Public Information Officer Tania Rues, Juvy and Sakchaser were victims of a fatal shooting last week. They were brought to a local hospital with gunshot wounds at approximately 4:35 AM on Friday morning but the two were reportedly already deceased. Thus far, the gunman has not been identified. The two rappers were in Fort Lauderdale but the exact location is yet to be determined.
Their partner, YNW Melly, has taken to social media to mourn the loss of his friends, saying, “I know y’all watching over me.” YNW Juvy was 19-years-old and YNW Sakchaser was 21-years-old. R.I.P.
