Kamaiyah was arrested at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut after refusing to submit a head cover for inspection, according to various reports. The 26-year-old rapper now faces charges of interfering with police and second-degree breach of peace.
Earlier today, Kamaiyah went through the Transportation Security Administration process, when her head cover set off an alarm, according to WFSB. Authorities claim that she refused to remove the headgear.
Additionally, police said that Kamaiyah used vulgar language toward TSA agents and a trooper who was at the airport at the time. She reportedly continued to protest the issue after an arrest.
Shortly after that, Kamaiyah posted $5,000 bond and was released. Taking to Twitter, she explained that she would still carry on with her travels via New York City. She’s scheduled back in court on June 6.
