Posted by Unknown on 10:36 AM

Drake’s charitable blitz is not over. He’s already donated $25,000 to a high school, $50,000 to a university student, and $50,000 towards peoples’ groceries. Now, the Toronto-based rapper gifts $50,000 to a homeless shelter for women and children.

On Tuesday (Feb. 6), Drizzy stopped by the Lotus House Shelter in Miami, where he dropped off a $50,000 check. He also presented residents with a slew of gifts, including Jordan Brand sneakers.

Lotus House shared an image of the 6 God speaking to its residents and a message of gratitude.

“Thank you Drake for the amazing surprise,” the shelter wrote on Facebook. “We are so thankful for your generosity.”

Taking to Instagram, the organization explained how Drizzy’s financial assistance will make a difference. “With this donation, we are going to be able to serve so many meals,” they added. “Did you know that $10 a day serves 3 meals at Lotus House?! This year- we will serve 500,000 meals in our new Lotus Village kitchen.”

Prior to this, Drake also presented Miami Senior High School with a $25,000 donation, gifted a University of Miami student with a $50,000 scholarship grant, and bought groceries for customers at a local supermarket. He was in Miami to shoot a video for “God’s Plan,” which is currently the No. 1 song in the country.
