Migos is everywhere. Fresh off the release of Culture II, the “biggest group ever” paid a visit to “The Breakfast Club” for another lengthy conversation around homophobia, infidelity, and more music.
During the nearly half-hour talk, which included Quality Control’s CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas, Offset discussed the recent controversy surrounding his use of a gay slur. The Atlanta rapper reiterated his claim that he did not know “queer” could be used as a derogatory term.
“I ain’t know what that meant. I really didn’t know what that meant,” he said. “I really don’t want to talk about that. But it’s all love. I got love everywhere. I don’t know what they talking about. I’m big on fashion, myself, so I got love for everybody. I ain’t ever been [one to] discriminate on nobody.”
When asked about recent cheating rumors, Offset also denied the accusations. “False allegations,” he said, before adding praise for his fiancée Cardi B: “I love my wife. I don’t care. A lot of haters out here. They think it’s fake. It’s real though.”
Takeoff also had some news to discuss, revealing that his Lil Yachty joint project is done and on the horizon. Will it be an album or a mixtape? “Just wait on it,” he said. “I can’t tell you too much. I can’t spill the beans. Just know it’s on the way. It’s finished. Complete.”
Meanwhile, Quavo was asked about his upcoming collaborations with Iggy Azalea and others. “Quavo making music,” he said. “They like the wave. We the wave.” When asked if there is anybody he wouldn’t collaborate with, Q replied: “When the price is right, we can work.”
