Big Sean Says He’s Been Waiting His ‘Whole Life’ to Drop His Next Album

Posted by Unknown on 1:21 PM

Big Sean is ready to make more big “Moves.”

While walking the red carpet at the 60th Annual Grammys on Sunday (Jan. 28), the Detroit rhymer shared some exciting news about his next album, which he’s been waiting a lifetime to release.

“We’ve got a lot coming up,” he told Ryan Seacrest on “E! News.” “I’m getting ready to drop an album that I’ve been waiting my whole life to drop.” When asked what that entails, Sean Don kept things coy. “You gotta wait and see,” he said.

Fans can also expect a major tour. The I Decided. MC said that it will be his first time on the road without promoting a specific album. Instead, he said it will include songs from all of his projects, including “TWENTY88, Double or Nothing, all the albums, mixtapes, and classics.”

When Sean’s new solo album does drop, it will be his fifth, following 2011’s Finally Famous, 2013’s Hall of Fame, 2015’s Dark Sky Paradise, and last year’s I Decided. In the last two years, he has also collaborated with girlfriend Jhené Aiko on TWENTY88 and Metro Boomin on Double or Nothing.

Sean was at the Grammys, where “Bounce Back” was nominated for Best Rap Performance. The track ended up losing to Kendrick Lamar’s “HUMBLE.”
