Kendrick Lamar’s Nike Cortez Will Drop on Grammy Night

Don’t trip. Kendrick Lamar’s highly-anticipated Nike Cortez collaboration is set to arrive on Grammy night.

Nike has announced that the “Cortez Kenny I” will drop Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m. EST for $100 via the SNKRS app. A preview of the red, black, and white shoes show “DAMN” on the tongue, but not much else.

The kicks land on Music’s Biggest Night, where K-Dot is up for seven gramophones, including Album of the Year (DAMN.) and Record of the Year (“HUMBLE.”).

Formerly endorsed by Reebok, King Kendrick made his Nike deal public in August. “Cortez,” read his social media post. “Since day one.”

Earlier this month, K-Dot revealed a special edition of the Cortez sneaker that read “Don’t Trip” down the center of the laces. These appear to be different from the preview.
