Amongst everything that is going on with Future in terms of his legal battle with Rocko, his music seems to be doing very well. In fact, his music is thriving as he just got his second #1 debut album within the last 2 weeks with his newest project “HNDRXX”.
Before “HNDRXX”, he dropped his surprise self titled album “FUTURE” and that cracked the Billboard Top 200 Albums debuting at #1. He announced and released the next album “HNDRXX” a week later and the exact same thing happened, thus replacing “FUTURE” at #1 while that dropped just to #2. That puts Future in a class of his own, being the first and only person with two #1 debuts in back to back weeks. Never in the 60+ year history of Billboard has that ever happened.
Some say he released these two albums to get out of his contract with Rocko. This is all speculation but at least we got some great music out of it and Future is cemented in Billboard history.
