22 Savage decides to stop riding the coat tails of 21 Savage and make his own name for himself with a simple change of his rap name.
The change comes unexpectedly through his Twitter, but is probably for the best as he will now go by Young 22. Not the most creative, but at least it’s not identical to one of rap’s biggest independent artists, 21 Savage.
The Baton Rouge rapper is known for beefing with his original over social media about the uncanny resemblance he bears in more ways than one to 21. Now he can have his own identity.
