Sad news today from the wrestling world. Former WWE superstar, Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, lost his battle with stomach cancer today. He was 73 years old.

Most fans remember Snuka for his aerial acrobatics, finishing his opponents by leaping from the top rope for his famous “Superfly Splash”.
Jimmy was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1996, while continuing to wrestle until 2010. His longtime friend Hulk Hogan took to twitter to share his love for Snuka.

His death comes less than two weeks after murder charges were dismissed against him for the killing of his then girlfriend, Nancy Argentino, back in 1983. Charges were filed in 2015 but a judge decided to dismiss the charges because there was evidence he had dementia and his cancer was terminal.
