But he still has his eyes on what’s next, and he was quick to drop his top five list when asked during an interview with Revolt TV who his favorite “New Generation” emcees are.
“J. Cole, Kendrick, Drake, Wayne, Rick Ross,” Nas answered.
Lil Wayne’s inclusion in a list of the “new” generation is little debatable simply because a teenage Weezy was all over the charts not so long after Illmatic dropped.
