Did Mannie Fresh just preview some music from Lil Wayne’s much-delayed Carter V album?
The super producer played two minutes 30 seconds of a Weezy track titled ‘Start This Shit Off Right’ on his Mannie Freshon the DaTakeover podcast.
According to the folks at Lil Wayne HQ, ‘Start That Shit Off Right’ was on a tentative tracklist for The Carter V.
That tentative tracklist had Weezy’s girl Christina Milian as a feature on the track, but she isn’t heard in the version Mannie Fresh played.
Wayne has said Carter V, which remains in legal limbo, is the best music of his career.
