Kanye West put the kibosh on the US leg of his Saint Pablo tour today, citing “exhaustion.”
‘Ye’s mental health brake comes after a pro-Trump rant during a show in San Jose, and then an outburst in which called out Jay Z, Beyonce, Drake and others in Sacremento.
In all, 21 dates will be cancelled between now and December 31.
According to Forbes, the Saint Pablo tour has been grossing about $1.5 million a night, with ‘Ye seeing 500K in nightly profits.
So that’s $10.5 million West is out of now, plus around another million in merchandising.
Earlier this year, ‘Ye complained that he was that he was $53 million in debt, and the Saint Pablo tour’s ambitious schedule may have been in part to improve his financial footing.
Now he will have to figure out a new way to increase revenue.
