Is there anyone dropping more songs, videos and mixtapes that Gucci Mane right now?
After debuting his new cut ‘Drove U Crazy,’ featuring Bryson Tiller yesterday — which is off his forthcoming album The Return of East Atlanta — Guwop dropped a vid for his Travi$ Scott-assisted tune ‘Last Time,’ off his Woptober project.
The video finds both rappers in the forest at night time during a snow fall. Director Harmony Korine appears in a few scenes and does his best rap star impression.
Arguably, the coolest thing about the clip is that it’s shot through a night vision lens, which adds to the overall dark feel of the video. As far as the actual concept of the song, Gucci and Scott talk about the last time they popped an ecstasy pill and only talking half of it.
“Last time I took drugs I just took half of it / Cause last time I took pills I had to smash a bitch / And last time I smoked gas I almost crashed a whip / Last time I took drugs I just took half of it,” La Flame sings on the hook.
It also looks like Gucci and Travis shot their scenes for the video separately, since they don’t appear in any shots together. But thanks to some solid editing it’s hard to tell that upon first glance.
