The success of Straight Outta Compton opened the door for many other biopics, even more so for additional storylines related to N.W.A.
Singer Michel’le falls into the latter category, and her biopic will make its debut on Lifetime next month. Surviving Compton will tell the story of the singer/songwriter, detailing her tumultuous relationships with both Dr. Dre (with whom she shares a son) and his enemy, Suge Knight.
