ITT Technical School sent devastating news to all of its students and employees as they have now told them that they are closing permanently. This leaves more than 8,000 employees out of a job and 35,000 students who will now have to find other ways to provide for themselves.
Officials say, the students who left the school within the past six months would be eligible to have loans for their ITT education forgiven if they decide to start over at another school. The Education Department is currently reaching out to students and community colleges around the area to try and see if they can be flexible in allowing ITT students to transfer their credits. This is truly tragic.
