The former manager of the groundbreaking rap group N.W.A Jerry Heller died this morning at the age of 75 years old.
Most of the younger generation knew Jerry Heller from the recent ‘Straight Outta Compton’ biopic as the manager that essentially broke the group up and robbed Eazy-E. Heller and Eazy-E were responsible for founding Ruthless Records.
Heller recently filed a defamation lawsuit against the producers of ‘Straight Outta Compton’ for how he was portrayed in the film. The vowed to continue that fight and the case was still open at the time of his death.
Rest in peace Jerry Heller.
