Suspected NY/NJ Bomber Ahmad Rahami Taken Into Custody After Shootout With Police In Linden, NJ

After a fingerprint identified 28-year-old naturalized Afghanistan citizen Ahmad Rahami as a suspect in this weekend’s bombings in New York and New Jersey, he has been apprehended.

Early reports are scarce, but according to NBC, Rahami was arrested in Linden, New Jersey, following a shootout with a police officer. The officer has non life-threatening injuries, while Rahami has also been shot and is en route to a hospital.
