We know that Wayne is suing his father figure Birdman for $51 million. What we just learned is that 70 m’s out of 100 from Young Money’s advance has disappeared..and Wayne wants to know what the hell Birdman did with it.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, the docs suggest that Birdman claimed to be spending that 70% of the advance on “royalties, marketing and recording expenses,” but Wayne and his team aren’t buying that story and are searching for answers. Birdman has turned in 22,015 pages of legal papers which he says acount for the $70 million, but Wayne’s team says none of the included pages explain where that specific $70 million turned up.
This is crazy…throwing around $70 million like it’s nothin…we’ll see how this one plays out. In the meantime Wayne just garnered the unquestionable support of Rap-A-Lot CEO, J Prince in his legal battle with Birdman.
