The disrespect is real. Birdman went right over his partner Lil Wayne’s head went he let Tyga off of Young Money to sign with Kanye’s label GOOD Music.
According to TMZ, Lil Wayne, who owns 49% of Young Money (an imprint under Cash Money), never gave his signature to sign off on Tyga being released from his contractual obligations. Wayne says he was never consulted about Tyga’s departure and if he would have been, Tyga would still be in the YM family. We know Wayne wants out of conducting business with his now shady business partner Birdman, but needs to get $51 million first.
It was just revealed that $70 million is missing from Young Money…there’s some serious stuff goin on in the YM headquarters.
