After keeping her role in upcoming Spider-Man movie top secret, it’s finally revealed who Zendaya will be playing in the next installment of the Franchise. This isn’t a small role either.
‘The Wrap’ reported that after one recent draft of the script, its clear that Zendaya is playing the role of Mary Jane because of the clues in the script.
It was big when it was announced back in March that Zendaya would be apart of the new movie. Her character however was under the alias of “Michelle”. Many thought back then that it was a pseudonym and the report from The Wrap seems to confirm that. One of the factors that isn’t clear, it whether Mary Jane will be Peter Parker’s love interest or not. The reason this is said is because the movie is focused on Peter’s high school years where his first girlfriend goes by the name of Gwen Stacy.
