An EDM website YourEDM made the connection from a Billboard Interview where Republic Records A&R Wendy Goldstein said The Weeknd and Daft Punk were working together. Goldstein said in the roundtable interview, ““We have a session coming up in two days with The Weeknd and Daft Punk.”
A couple months have gone by and still no song, but, last Wednesday The Weeknd posted a picture to his Facebook wall from he studio with two silver toy figures that look just like Daft Punk sitting on top of a speaker. I’m no genius, but if you ask me, that looks like a precursor to a collab song coming soon. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available. Check out the photo below from Abel’s Facebook.
