15-year-old DaMontez Jones fatally shot himself while trying to take a selfie. Apparently the gun accidentally went off and Jones was hit in his chest according to police.

The photo that Jones took of himself during the accidental shooting has not yet been found. Investigators will be asking a lab to access the boys cellphone to try and figure out what actually happened.
The teen died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his upper chest area and the shooting has been ruled as an accident, police said.
