Police in Orlando, FL have answered one of many major questions in the death of Christina Grimmie, the 22-year-old singer who was a contestant on NBC’s “The Voice.” The man who shot and killed Grimmie has been identified as James Loibl, 27, of St.Petersburg, Florida according to police. It is still unknown what motivated Loibl to attack the singer.

Police have yet to give a background story on James Loibl or offer a possible motive. Investigators have said police have no indication that the shooter knew Grimmie they think that the shooting may have been the work of a deranged fan.
