Just because Hooters allow their staff to wear skimpy clothes, does not mean they do not have high standards for the cleanliness in their restaurants. Hooters is currently suing Hoot Owl, which is their NJ based franchise.
Hoot Owl operates a few of the Hooters restaurants on the East coast and have been leaving numerous Hooter Restaurants in filthy, poor conditions and even abandoned one. The Hooters Corporations have received numerous complaints from customers and tried to get Hoot Owl on board with things. However they continue to leave the restaurants in poor conditions, which leaves Hooters no other choice but to file a lawsuit. Hooters have already took the rights of three of the Hooter franchise from Hoot Owls and the rest are in process now.
