A huge congratulations is in order for the hip hop group A Tribe Called Quest. Members of the group include the late Phife Dawg who passed earlier this year,Q-Tip,Ali Shaheed,Muhammad,and Jarobi White will receive an award this year from the American Society of Composers,Authors,and Publishers(ASCAP).
The infamous group will receive the Golden Note Award at this year’s Rhythm & Soul Music Awards this month on June 23rd in Los Angeles.This is a great accomplishment for artists in their music career. Former honorees of the award include Jay Z, Diddy, Lauryn Hill just to name a few.A Tribe Called Quest has made a major impact in music today especially to the hiphop,jazz, and funk genres, so this award is definitely well deserved.Congrats again to the members of A tribe Called Quest!
