As the autopsy of Prince is being done, Sheriff Jim Olson says there is no signs of trauma anywhere on his body. This means that suicide had officially been ruled out. He also says that the last time Prince was seen alive was at 8 p.m. Wednesday night at Paisley Park.
The sheriff released a statment saying,
“This was a tragedy for all of us. For us, he’s a community member and good neighbor. To his family, he is a loved one. In life, he was very private person, we’re going to continue to respect privacy and dignity and we hope you all will respect that as well.”
There currently is no information on whether or not drugs and overdosing played a role in the death. The autopsy results won’t be in for a few days or maybe even weeks.
