As we’ve been hearing the last two days about the disgusting and sad death of Delaware highschool student Amy Joyner-Francis, students and adults are both hurt and confused. Her father Sonny speaks on the pain of losing his child.
Family and friends have made a vigil in memory of Amy which brought out hundreds of people. Sonny, the father of the late high school girl expressed his pain and confusion stating,
“I thought schools were a safe place.”
While police continue to investigate and try to piece the puzzles together about what took place in the girls’ bathroom, friends and family continue to mourn over this young girl’s passing.
Her father is completely heart broken and will only have the memories of his daughter to hold onto.
“All I know is my daughter is gone. She was the love of my life and it hurts.”
