Yes you read that headline correctly. A fan dropped more than $4,000 not on an actual game worn pair of kicks from Steph Curry but on literally just a small piece of one sneaker.

We have all heard of people dropping insane amounts of money on game worn kicks from athletes to add to their own collection but just adding a piece of a sneaker is something new.
The fan, who I can only assume is a Warriors fan, technically spent $4,250 on a patch from a pair of Under Armour’s Steph wore back in 2013. This was before he had his own signature sneakers but that clearly didn’t stop the fan from making the purchase. I wonder how much the kicks themselves would have gone for.
