Fans went into a frenzy when Gucci Mane’s Twitter and Instagram accounts suddenly disappeared. There seemed to be no true explanation for the sudden social media hiatus however, the official Instagram for Guwop’s label, 1017 Records remains and provided us with an update on Monday.

According to 1017 Records, Gucci Mane will be released from prison March 2016!! In an Instagram post the label revealed,
Guwop get out in march 2016
This could be the reason for the disappearance of his social media account as, the rapper’s engineer, Sean Paine, dished to Pigeons & Planes that the reason behind the deleted accounts is so when Gucci is released he can “resurface everything under the new Gucci brand.”
