It’s the holiday season and that means it’s the season of giving. While Kim Kardashian was up late at night breast feeding new baby boy, Saint West, she decided that she should give back to those who are less fortunate. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star donated 1,000 pairs of shoes to a charity called Soles 4 Souls. Read more after the jump.

Kim, who just gave birth to son, Saint West, was on the hunt on Twitter to find the Hurricane Katrina survivor behind the campaign Soles 4 Souls. The charity was looking to collect a certain amount of shoes by Christmas to give back to those who need them most. According to Dish Nation, Kansas teen Amelia Flores is working with organization Soles 4 Souls to collect 2,000 shoes. The group, which donates shoes to those in need, helped Flores’ extended family during Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and now she wants to give back.
At the time of broadcast, Amelia had gathered nearly 1,000 pairs, and Dish Nation challenged viewers to help her collect the final 1,000 before Dec. 18.
“Kanye and I would love to donate those 1000 shoes to Soles For Souls.”
Kim wrote on Twitter Thursday night. Mrs.West also stated that she has been attempting to find Flores online but has not yet been successful.
“So whoever you are ….these shoes are for you! We will contact Soles For Souls! You reached your goal, so proud of you!!! xoxox.”
