A California woman was arrested after accusations of not providing adequate safety for her own baby. Read more and check out the video report.
Mother Arrested After Baby Falls Out Of Moving Car
Apparently, the woman failed to put her child in a babyseat, which consequently caused her baby to fall out of her moving car into traffic. Fortunately for the child, when Ashley Cowell was turning her vehicle into less than moderate traffic, not one vehicle harmed the 10-month-old baby. Plus, the door may have not been properly closed.
“It does not take much at all for a child of that age from a simple fall and a strike to the head or what not could cause severe injuries in a short amount of time,” a police officer said.
When police asked Cowell why she didn’t buckle her son safely in, she replied it was because she was running late.
Her baby and two other children are now staying with Child Welfare Services while Cowell is facing felony child endangerment charges.
