FOX 5 to debut a new 30-minute weekly series, devoted to the hit FOX show, “Empire.”

Each week, “After Empire,” will provide a roundtable discussion, featuring FOX 5 Anchors Steve Lacy and Dari Alexander, Entertainment Reporter Simone Boyce and a celebrity guest to recap that week’s episode.

The station will also be partnering with Hot 97 and WBLS to include some of the biggest DJ’s in Hip-Hop history, who will be spinning LIVE throughout the program. The first panel will feature Hot 97’s midday show host Megan Ryte and the legendary DJ Marley Marl, as well as a behind-the-scenes profile of the HOT 97 hit show, “Ebro in the Morning” crew.
