Looks like Columbus Short got off easy after pleading no contest for knocking a man unconscious in a bar fight. The former Scandal actor was facing four years behind bars until the judge gave him three years probation instead.
The fight left the victim with a concussion and fractured eye socket. However, Short’s lawyer believes he will be able to move passed the incident. Short’s attorney, Ludlow B. Creary II said, “Mr. Short can put this behind him and get on with his life and his career.” “We came to an agreement with the prosecutor and the court.”
In order to help him “get on with his life and his career” Short was ordered to “60 days of community labor and ordered to complete 26 anger management classes” as well as paying restitution to the victim.
