The news of Drake and OVO Launching Pop-Up Shop In the States definitely has some buzz since the success of their Toronto store. Complex reported on the weekend sale of zip up hoodies, t-shirts, shorts, caps and pullovers (modeled by PARTYNEXTDOOR) with the simplistic owl and “6” logos. As Drake gets ready for the album we were really waiting for (no shade–even Drake knows the IYRTITL release was just chess) “Views From the 6ix,” looks like the roll-out of gear won’t stop.
In addition to gear from Drake and OVO Launching Pop-Up Shop In the States don’t forget the highly anticipated OVO Fest featuring Big Sean and J. Cole among others. As for where this first US side store will be–sorry East Coast! The turn up goes down in the La Brea store of Los Angeles to start. There’s still no word on whether the OVO collab with the Toronto Raptors and Mitchell & Ness will be made available…
If all goes well surely this is only the beginning of Drake and OVO Launching Pop-Up Shop In the States. If you’re curious they’ve also had their lookbook and 2015 collection available for view. The store will be open every day of the week for 6-8 hours a day (all coins welcome!). The old pop-up’s used to always have a “Welcome to the Family” sign over fluorescent OVO and Cash Money logos, as well as sell shirts with Baby’s face on them. (SMH) Expect a few changes!!!…but Congrats OVO!
