White College Baseball Player Calls Mo’ne Davis a Slut. A white college baseball player from Bloomsburg University took to twitter to address the fact that Disney is going to make a movie about Mo’ne Davis and her story. He says “Disney is making a movie about Mo’ne Davis? What a joke. That slut got rocked by Nevada”.
I’m disgusted by the amount of hate in that tweet and also puzzled as to why. Mo’ne shattered baseball records and she’s still at such a young age, and she also inspired millions of kids who live in poor areas to strive for greatness. Very few people can do what she’s done and because Disney wants to reward her with her own movie, she’s a slut? I just can’t understand the mentality of some people. Fortunately, justice was served and the university dismissed him from the team. They should have expelled him from the school to really teach him a lesson that racism isn’t tolerated. Go watch the millions of movies about Caucasians that are out there if you don’t want to see the inspiring story of an African American girl being told.
