Tear Jerker Warning: When someone makes such a huge impact (for the better) in your life, you tend to create things that will allow you to never forget such an impact. During a conversation with Today Show host, Natalie Morales, an emotional Vin Diesel admits to naming his daughter in honor of his fallen friend, Paul Walker.
In flight over Los Angeles, Vin says that he knew his Fast & Furious co-star was beside him and girlfriend, Paloma Jimenez, as the birth of their daughter took place. “While I was in the hospital, the name that I will give you is…I named her…I named her Pauline,” he confesses. “There’s no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting this umbilical cord.” Diesel wanted to keep Walker a part of his family, which is why he made the decision.
“When the tragedy happened, I lost my best friend. I lost my brother.” In 2013, Walker’s life ended during a car crash in southern California. Since then Diesel, Tyrese and Ludacris has opened up about the lose of a great individual.
