The Weeknd was arrested on Saturday in Las Vegas, when he accidentally (or possibly purposely?) punched a cop in the head while police were attempting to break up a fight he was involved in.
According to reports, the fight started inside Vegas’ Cromwell Hotel around 4:20am. When they cops up on the scene and attempted to break it up, one of them pulled the singer into an elevator, and that’s when he allegedly punched him in the head.
He was then arrested for battery of a protected person. He later bailed out and took to Instagram with a picture heading to a plane, captioning it, “escaped from Las Vegas.”
