Ok so this happened..according to Daily Mail , officials in Phoenix Arizona ended up finding out the raw bloody truth about a murder after being really nice to one young man that they had seen eating at a IHop restaurant. There were Two of the police officers that paid for th mans meal , which somehow through the mist of pancakes and sugar free maple syrup led to the arrest of a young Phoenix Arizona resident.

Sgt. Tommy Thompson said on Friday the officers went to The IHop Resturant early on Wednesday morning where a 23 year old man named Mykel Cantrel Cooper said he had no money to pay for his meal.

The officers concluded the man had some type of mental health issue, so they paid for his meal and tip and took him to a behavioral health facility rather than take him to jail, Thompson said.

“At the facility at short time later, the man told staff there he’d done ‘something bad to his roommate’”

Police were contacted and went to his apartment, where they found the body of 29-year-old Steven Horkovy, who apparently had been killed Tuesday according the Sgt Tommy Thompson.

The Detectives later on proceeded to arrest Mykel as a suspect for first degree murder. Cooper remains in jail on a $1 million bond.
