Leading lady Zoe Saldana has decided to take more control of her career. In fact, she seems to have opted for a complete overhaul. Especially after her comments about women, power, and acting. Check it out after the jump.
As of now, Saldana executive produces the AOL show, “My Hero.” While celebrating this mark in her career, she decided to speak on the state of Actors. “Sometimes being an actor is a very powerless position to be in, especially if you’re a woman, especially if you’re a woman of color. [Acting] is basically stand there, look pretty, say your lines, go home. You’re not there from the moment someone says, ‘I have an idea,’ and you fight for it and bleed for it.”
