J. Cole released his sophomore album Born Sinner earlier this summer, and it was well-received on the charts, thanks in part to the success of its lead single “Power Trip” featuring Miguel and its follow up, “Crooked Smile” featuring TLC. The latter, however, has yet to produce a visual to accompany it, leaving many to ask what’s up with it. During an interview with Mikey Fresh, the Dreamville rapper revealed the reason behind the delay. Find out what happened below!
“We have to re-shoot it,” Cole said of the video to ‘Crooked Smile.’ “It came out nice but it just didn’t come out exactly how I wanted. It’s such an important song so I want the visual to match. If this was my first video than I would have panicked. We had to re-shoot ‘Work Out,’ too.”
